Need to grab food in a hurry? Every restaurant at Heathrow has a special menu of dishes that are ready within 15 minutes. Just look out for the symbol.

Travelling with children?

Apart from downloading movies and packing plenty of toys, you can keep young children entertained at the soft play areas located throughout the terminals.

Looking for shops or toilets in a hurry? Parents can download an interactive map of any terminal to quickly find the nearest amenities.

Terminal 2

Play area: suitable for kids aged 0-9, open 6am to 9pm daily, at Terminal 2A departure lounge, after security, near to Gate 16.

Terminal 3

Play area: there are areas for ages 0-2 and 3-9, and a games room for children aged 10-15. Plus, comfortable seating and drinks machine for parents. Open 6am to 9pm daily, located after security (near the Ted Baker store) follow signs for Lounge A.

Terminal 4

Play area: suitable for kids aged 0-9, open 6am to 9pm daily, located in the departure lounge, after security, on the way to Gates 1-6.

Play area: suitable for kids aged 0-9, open 6am to 9pm daily, located in the main Terminal 5A departure lounge (after security), near Gate A7.

Handy Heathrow lockers

If you're visiting London for a few days and then jetting off somewhere else or you have a day layover - you can store your larger bags at the baggage offices located in Terminals 2-5.

Wifi is free at Heathrow - just make sure you log onto the official hotspot and enjoy.
